OVC key employers seek top talent in Hong Kong
Optics Valley of China (OVC) led a delegation of 20 key employers to Hong Kong on Aug 29, seeking to recruit talented young professionals. The event attracted over 200 PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from Hong Kong universities, with expertise in key industries such as integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, computing, optics, biomedicine, and medicine.

Representatives from five notable institutions, including Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hubei Jiangcheng Laboratory, and HGTECH, took the stage to highlight their platform advantages, research directions, and job opportunities. These presentations showcased Wuhan's comprehensive talent development ecosystem, spanning universities, key laboratories, and industry leaders, and offered a clear career development path for global talent.
After the presentations, participating employers held in-depth face-to-face discussions with Hong Kong's young professionals. The exchanges focused on job requirements, development platforms, and talent policies, leading to many initial cooperation agreements and successful matchups.

The event also featured a consultation area offering attendees one-stop services, including policy interpretation, job matching, and application guidance.
A representative from Hubei Jiangcheng Laboratory praised the talent recruitment event, noting the strong professional alignment between attendees and the laboratory's core recruitment goals. The representative expressed a desire to continue participating in Wuhan's talent acquisition activities in Hong Kong, seizing opportunities to attract outstanding talent from around the world.
