The China Wuhan Overseas Scholar Business Park, located in the Optics Valley of China (OVC), has embarked on a comprehensive renovation project. The upgrade aims to transform the park into an international innovation community for entrepreneurship incubation, research and development, and resource sharing.

Established in 1998, the park has served as a key platform in OVC for supporting overseas high-level talents in their entrepreneurial endeavors. Spanning 18,000 square meters, the park has been operational for nearly three decades.

Over the past 30 years, the park has attracted more than 2,000 returnees from 24 countries and regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, and Germany. It has been the starting point for six publicly listed companies, 14 national-level specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises, 98 gazelle companies, and 234 high-tech enterprises.

The renovation includes a complete overhaul of the building facades, optimization of existing incubator and R&D spaces, and enhancements to public areas. The improvements of the infrastructure such as roads and parking facilities are also part of the upgrade. The project is expected to be completed by December.

In tandem with the physical upgrades, the park will enhance its "investment, incubation, and services" mechanism. This includes upgrading its high-quality incubation functions and integrating seed fund investments with project incubation, making it an ideal starting point for entrepreneurs.
