Nearly 100 industrial inspection robots were delivered to the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) on Aug 6 and are set to perform security patrols in cities like Wuhan, Shanghai, and Wuxi.

"This is the largest delivery in the history of Central China's robotics industry," said Xia Ke, co-founder of CX Robot Connect (Wuhan) Technology Co, which develops and produces the industrial inspection robots. "Today, we delivered the first batch of 30 Xun1 series quadruped robots. Their key feature is the ability to autonomously navigate to designated locations with millimeter-level precision upon receiving cloud-based tasks."

The Xun1 series robots are priced at over 100,000 yuan ($14,819) each and are equipped to intelligently detect environmental factors such as gas, temperature, humidity, and even incidents like falls.

At the delivery event, CX Robot Connect unveiled the Xun3 robot, designed specifically for industrial settings. According to Xia, the Xun3 boasts improved endurance, climbing, and autonomous inspection capabilities, capable of traveling approximately 20 kilometers continuously.

The company has also introduced a comprehensive smart park solution, with these robots able to independently divide tasks and work collaboratively within a smart park in the future.

Founded in 2022, CX Robot Connect, a leading company in OVC, has developed various robots, including inspection drones, ground inspection robots, and industrial inspection robots. The company boasts a monthly production capacity exceeding 100 robots, with orders already scheduled through the fourth quarter of this year.
