Sixteen biotech and pharmaceutical companies from Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) showcased a wide array of products from July 30 to Aug 1 at the 24th Vietnam Medi-Pharm Expo in Ho Chi Minh City, highlighting OVC's biotech strengths.

This marked the first time that OVC organized a collective appearance at a Southeast Asian exhibition, garnering interest from nearly 100 potential clients. The event featured 380 booths and attracted over 300 companies from 15 countries and regions.

At OVC's pavilion, Wuhan Benagen Technology Co showcased pathogen detection kits, while Wuhan Bebevisa Biotechnology Co made its debut in the Vietnamese market with a range of high-end cosmetic instruments and anti-aging solutions.

Before the event, OVC collaborated with VirtualExpo Group, a French online exhibition platform, to provide companies with pre-exhibition product promotion, brand exposure, and online traffic services, enhancing their international visibility and brand influence.

OVC has actively supported its companies in participating in renowned international exhibitions, fostering the expansion of optoelectronic information and biotech firms into global markets and helping foreign trade development thrive.
