The action plan outlines the need to tackle critical core technologies, with an emphasis on breakthroughs in integrated sensing, computing, and intelligence, space optical communication, and satellite-terrestrial integration. It also aims to develop flagship products such as 6G baseband chips, next-generation base stations, satellite payloads, and laser modules, creating a comprehensive product portfolio.
Furthermore, the plan emphasizes the creation of advanced network infrastructures by integrating 5G-A and 6G technologies, as well as terrestrial and satellite networks. This aims to improve computing power and network capabilities for 6G development. The initiative also seeks to foster an innovative ecosystem through implementing a "Tech Finance+" strategy, nurturing leading 6G enterprises, and strengthening policy support.
By 2027, the action plan intends to deploy 30 6G test base stations and establish 30 benchmark applications with notable demonstrative effects and significant influence. Upcoming steps involve actively engaging with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, establishing expert committees, and forming task forces to tackle practical challenges, thus fostering a conducive environment for 6G industry development.
