DeRUCCI invests in OVC's leading electronic skin company
DeRUCCI, a leading provider of integrated healthy sleep system solutions, has made a strategic investment exceeding 10 million yuan ($1.48 million) using its own funds in Huaweike Intelligent Technology Co, a leading company in flexible tactile (electronic skin) technology based in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC).
Following this transaction, Huaweke's valuation has surpassed 1 billion yuan. This collaboration marks DeRUCCI's entry into the core sector of smart sleep technology – flexible sensors.
Headquartered in OVC's Wuhan Future City, Huaweike focuses on flexible intelligent sensing. The company empowers sectors such as humanoid robotics, smart vehicles, smart energy, and life health. It aims to become a leading provider of intelligent sensing products and solutions both in China and globally.
Huaweike's flexible electronic skin products have been integrated into over 18,000 dexterous robotic hands, capturing more than 70 percent market share and ranking first in the industry. Its smart cockpit products have achieved mass production and delivery across multiple car models, with ongoing expansion into consumer electronics, smart home, and smart appliance markets.
Huaweike will continue to provide flexible electronics and customized R&D solutions, working in synergy with DeRUCCI's existing in-house sensor systems to enhance sleep monitoring precision, intelligent adjustment capabilities, and overall user experience.
