Two Optics Valley schools to offer senior high education

Two schools in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, became qualified to start offering senior high school education  and will introduce senior high schools this September.

The two schools are the Optics Valley Branch of the No. 1 Middle School Affiliated with Central China Normal University and the Wuhan Optics Valley International Foreign Language School.

Located in Future City, the Optics Valley Branch of the No. 1 Middle School Affiliated with Central China Normal University is next to the new campus of China University of Geosciences and the National Memory Base.

The school covers an area of 230 mu (15.33 hectares) and its facilities include classroom buildings, student dormitories, cafeterias, sports fields, gymnasiums, swimming pools, libraries, and concert halls.

The school currently serves more than 2,000 primary and junior high school students, and it will receive its first 160 senior high school students this September.
