Optics Valley seeks investment from Hangzhou, Shanghai
A delegation from the administrative committee of East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) in Wuhan, Hubei province, visited Hangzhou, Zhejiang's provincial capital and Shanghai from Nov 9 to 10, to seek investment.
The group was led by Chen Ping, deputy secretary of the zone's Party work committee.
They visited Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology, a world-leading provider of innovative security products and solutions, discussing issues regarding construction of the company's technology park in Optics Valley.
The group visited Shanghai Zhaoxin Semiconductor, a State-owned company established in 2013 and a top domestic integrated circuit design house, to learn about the company's market-leading products and market prospects.
The two sides also discussed the possibility of cooperating to establish the company's R&D center in Optics Valley.
In addition, the delegation met directors of Xiaohongshu, a national leading e-commerce platform, and discussed development of its second headquarters in Optics Valley.
