Optics Valley starts construction on six projects
Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China), located in central China’s Hubei province, began construction work on six major projects with a total investment of 2.71 billion yuan ($423.75 million), on June 11.
The six projects include an intelligent equipment manufacturing industry project, a medical health e-commerce logistics base project, the development of Chinasoft International’s headquarters in central China, and a photoelectric sensor industrial park project.
Among them, the Wuhan Sunlord Supply Chain Management Company is to invest 510 million yuan into the intelligent equipment manufacturing industry project in the Optics Valley of China.
A 56,000-square-meter production plant, a research, development, and equipment manufacturing base for intelligent storage systems, and related supporting facilities will be built, with the aim of realizing integration of intelligent manufacturing and industrialization.
Chinasoft International, a national leading company providing global software and information technology services, plans to invest 1 billion yuan in the Optics Valley of China as well as to set up its central China headquarters, which will be mainly engaged in three businesses –– providing service outsourcing and solutions, cloud software, and education and training.
Businesses will cover areas such as information technology, communications, financial services, transportation, and manufacturing.
