First China Game Festival to take place in Wuhan
The first China Game Festival will be held at Wuhan International Conference and Exhibition Center in Wuhan, central China’s Hubei province, from May 25 to 27, according to a press conference on April 11.
From next year, the festival will be held at China Optics Valley Convention and Exhibition Center, which is located in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China).
This year’s festival will cover an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, and will attract more than 50 gaming companies.
The exhibition will focus on creating a gaming experience area, collecting the most popular games in the world, covering more than 100 games of four major types –– console games, mobile games, virtual reality games and independent games.
During the festival, an internet entertainment industry summit will also be held.
Optics Valley of China has been focusing on the development of the cultural and creative sector in recent years, and is home to over 1,200 cultural and technological companies.
The zone has successfully hosted many large-scale activities, such as the China Youth E-Sports Competition.
