A delegation from Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) visited Optics Valley - Huanggang Science and Technology Industrial Park in Huanggang, Hubei province, on Jan 18. 

Led by Cheng Yongwen, Party secretary of Optics Valley of China and Liu Ziqing, director and deputy Party secretary of the zone, the delegation also had a meeting with officials in Huanggang, and the two sides signed an agreement to accelerate construction of the industrial park.

With an overall planning area of about 22 square kilometers, the industrial park will utilize the industrial advantages of Optics Valley of China and focus on industries including intelligent manufacturing, optoelectronics, new materials, new energy, and modern services.

In addition, Optics Valley of China will send five officials to work for the industrial park.
