Donghu High-Tech Development Zone (Optics Valley) in Wuhan, Hubei province is to launch an innovation and entrepreneurship contest in Beijing on Aug 17.

Ending in late October, the contest includes four stages – global auditions, division auditions, semi-finals, and finals. 

The competition will start simultaneously in Silicon Valley, London, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Wuhan.

Any projects related to optoelectronic information, biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing, new energy, energy saving, the internet, integrated circuits, semiconductor displays and the net economy can enter the contest.
