On Mar 18, Hubei province and Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Jiang Chaoliang, secretary of Hubei province Party committee, spoke highly of Huawei’s achievements, strategies, methods and execution. Hubei province is devoted to practicing new development concepts and boosting economic transformation and upgrading, which requires cooperation with global leading innovative enterprises such as Huawei. 

Hubei province has many strengths, including rich education and talent resources, convenient transportation and logistics and low start-up and business costs. It hopes that Huawei will continue to support the province in deepening innovations and sharing development opportunities.

According to the agreement, Huawei will enlarge research and development investment in Hubei province, helping Hubei’s development of software and hardware industries. They will join hands in many aspects such as cultivating information-based talents and collaborating on cloud computing and big data applications.
